Day 2: Serengeti National Park
After an early breakfast you will drive to Serengeti National Park, the largest national park in Northern Tanzania. Serengeti is famous for its incredible scenery and magnificent wildlife, including the annual wildebeest migration. Serengeti is also a great place to see lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants and is densely packed with other plains game such as gazelles, giraffes, and zebras. Your accommodation will be a lodge or campsite within the park.

You will start the day with an early morning game drive where you might see some nocturnal animals such as bat-eared foxes and genets. You will have a picnic breakfast at sunrise before continuing on with a full-day game drive in Serengeti National Park.

After breakfast you will head to Ngorongoro Crater for your final game drive. Ngorongoro Crater is one of the Seven Natural Wonders of Africa and is the best place in Tanzania to see the big five. Around noon you will take a break to enjoy your packed lunch at a picnic site near a hippo pool. After lunch you will be transferred back to Arusha or Moshi and on the way you will have a chance to buy some souvenirs to take home with you.
